TA 35 Index Rises 1.68% at End of Trading in Israel

Israel stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the TA 35 index rising 1.68% to a 3-month high. Gains in the Banking, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led the index higher. First International Bank of Israel Ltd and Mizrahi Tefahot were the best performers, rising 5.01% and 4.38% respectively. Crude oil for June delivery rose 2.78% to $72.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% to $1,985.60 a troy ounce. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 102.74.
