Pastrňák Nominated for Hart Memorial Trophy

Czech ice hockey star David Pastrňák is in the running for two of the NHL’s most prestigious awards. The 26-year-old Boston Bruins wing is up for the Hart Trophy, which is awarded to the most valuable player in the regular season, and the Ted Lindsay Trophy, which is voted on by players.

Pastrňák is up against Connor McDavid of Edmonton and Matthew Tkachuk of Florida for the Hart Trophy, while the Ted Lindsay Trophy shortlist also includes McDavid and Leon Draisaitl of Edmonton.

The awards are decided on by hockey journalists and players respectively, and the winners will be announced at the NHL Awards ceremony in June.
